Reserve Ledger Audit

From ₩450,000 · Two business days · Bundang-gu, Seongnam

Format: On-site or office visit in Bundang, with optional Greater Seoul site visit

Who this is for

Small businesses in Korea that hold bitcoin as a reserve asset—import traders, consulting firms, family-owned manufacturers, and professional partnerships—often accumulate cold-storage wallets faster than they document them. When quarterly closes arrive, the accountant asks for a reconciliation between on-chain balances and ledger entries, and the operations team discovers that wallet custody was never formally mapped.

This audit is for businesses with two or more hardware wallets or paper backups and an internal ledger (spreadsheet, accounting software export, or handwritten register) that has not been reconciled against actual holdings in the past six months.

What we deliver

Day one — inventory and custody mapping. We sit with your team and catalogue every hardware wallet, paper seed backup, and multisig participant. Each device is assigned a ledger line reference. We record physical storage locations, who can access each wallet, and the approval steps required before any withdrawal.

Day two — reconciliation and controls review. We compare on-chain balances for each mapped address against your ledger entries as of a fixed cut-off date. Unexplained movements are flagged. We review your sign-off procedures, backup verification intervals, and separation of duties between key holders.

Written findings report. Within five business days you receive a document your accountant can reference: wallet inventory table, reconciliation summary, control gaps ranked by severity, and recommended remediation steps with estimated effort.

What is included

  • Wallet and backup inventory spreadsheet
  • On-chain balance reconciliation against ledger entries
  • Control gap analysis with remediation priorities
  • One follow-up call within 30 days to review progress

What is excluded

  • Tax filing or legal advice (we document holdings; your accountant interprets tax treatment)
  • Recovery of lost seed phrases or inaccessible wallets
  • Ongoing monthly reconciliation (available as a separate service)
  • Blockchain transaction tracing beyond mapped addresses

Timeline and location

The audit requires two consecutive business days. Most sessions take place at our Bundang office where you bring hardware wallets for verification. For businesses in Greater Seoul, we can conduct the inventory day at your premises. Remote clients outside Korea may arrange a video-assisted audit with pre-shipped verification steps.

Pricing basis

Engagements start at ₩450,000 for businesses with up to four wallets and a single ledger source. Additional wallets, multisig arrangements, or multiple ledger systems add scope. We provide a fixed quote after a 30-minute intake call.
